Volume 2, Issue 6 - June 2007

Last month, I talked a little about customer service, and that's a nice set-up for what I wanted to say today. I was looking over the results of our customer satisfaction survey, now in its third year, and the year-over-year data shows that while some things change, some things stay the same.

When we ask our customers why they do business with InSys, the number one answer is very consistent. It's the quality of InSys resources. The number two slot is pretty consistent, too. Last year, it was Business and Industry knowledge, but in '05 and '07 it was trust in the InSys relationship. Last year, Price was in third place, but in the other years Speed of Response was considered more important. This is all good news, since our goal is always to be the highest value provider, not the lowest price provider.

So thanks again to everyone on the team for helping make InSys what it is today: a firm that's known for delivering quality resources, with good industry knowledge, in a timely fashion. And thanks again to all the customers who took the time to share their thoughts.

Until next month...

The iPhone Gamble

Steve Jobs has a lot riding on Apple's new iPhone, which will be in the stores at the end of this month. Will it be another culture-changing device, like the iPod, or will its high price and network limitations turn people away. One writer at Fox News thinks it may do both. Read the article.
