Volume 3, Issue 3 - March 2008

Greetings, all...

Today I wanted to follow up on my trip to Florida, to accept the award from Enterprising Women magazine that I mentioned last month. It was a lot of fun, and even led to some new contacts in the DC area.

The best part was getting to meet so many different women from all around the country, who are facing the same basic challenge we face everyday at InSys -- running a business, while serving our customers well. I've spent most of my career in professional services and it's not that unusual to run into women business owners in this sector. But in Florida, I met women who were running construction companies, print shops, ad agencies, waste management firms... every walk of life was represented!

With the news about Bear Sterns this week, it's probably worth remembering how much of the country depends on the efforts of smaller businesses, led by entrepreneurs of both genders. When the economy is looking a little fragile, my advice is to stay focused, pitch in and don't be nervous. What goes down, will come up again!

Take care,

Linda Magnusson-Rosario, CEO
