Volume 4, Issue 5 - May 2009
Greetings, folks -
This week I had one of those experiences that highlights the positive aspects of an old rule of doing business: what
goes around, comes around.
It was a friend-of-a-friend kind of referral -- a person who found himself on the job market for the first time in many years. There's a lot of that going around today. I was happy to give him some advice
and offered the support of some InSys experts to help polish his resume. Small things, really, but he was very happy to get them and very happy with the new-and-improved version of his career that emerged from the resume-polishing process.
There was no tit-for-tat discussion, you understand. But he's independently recommended InSys to some of his own contacts. And he's done so in such glowing terms that repeating them here would make me blush. As the saying goes, you
can never really pay people back. You have to pay them forward.
Think about that in your own context today. What can you do to pay something forward?
